Mileage137,340Service Date7/18/2024Services Performed- Check Engine lamp is illuminated and/or warning message is on the vehicle dash/information cluster. Perform evaluation and diagnostic testing including DTC pre and post repair scan, component testing, test drive, and vehicle inspection. No check engine light active while on drive. Drove car in town and on highway, car drove well. At shop pulled codes and found 3 stored codes (P0106 Manifold Abs. Pressure performance, P0341 Camshaft position sensor circuit performance and P0171 Fuel trim B1) Rec customer return if CEL comes back on. Would need 2 hours of DIAG to continue if all 3 codes are in system. If it is just 1 code, would need 1 hour labor. Also, heard front end noise, control arms have a lot of play in them and engine mount also has lots of play. Found oil leak coming from oil pan. Inspecting right rear tire, found nail – patched it.
- Patch and set to recommended tire pressure. Replace TPMS valve stem or sealing kit.

Mileage148,670Service Date7/2/2024Services Performed- Confirmed customer complaint there is a clicking and the modes does not operate. Got access to connector at mode actuator and while it was clicking disconnected and the noise went away, this confirms that there is power to actuator and it's something wrong on actuator or door is stuck. To proceed need approval to remove actuator to check door, if door is not stuck the actuator is bad.

2017 Audi A3
Mileage117,372Service Date5/29/2024Services Performed- Check Engine lamp is illuminated and/or warning message is on the vehicle dash/information cluster. Perform evaluation and diagnostic testing including DTC pre and post repair scan, component testing, test drive, and vehicle inspection. Test drove several times could not duplicate concern, one of those drives was almost to the end of the day and park it for some time and went to vehicle again to start it and it acted up, next day had to put gas and it would not take gas in. At this point we are suspecting a canister close valve failure and when it acts up the vapors from tank get to vehicle making the air fuel mixture incorrect. Removed fender liner to get to the charcoal canister, when inspecting the canister found it full of gas (this is only achieved due to vehicle overfilling when putting gas). Recommend to replace charcoal canister. **Arrived at shop tuesday morning and found oil leak under car** Replaced canister, test drove and vehicle drove properly, no codes on.

- EVAPORATION CONTROL CANISTER – Remove & Replace
- Camshaft Phasers are leaking as well as a tiny leak from oil plug, which can be replaced upon next oil change.
