Death wobble
The question is no IF but when you will experience the death wobble. It’s truly terrifying and can be deadly. This is often caused by worn suspension components, such as bushings, joints, and links. It can also be as simple as a tire air pressure problem or balance issue.
Engine misfires
This can cause reduced power, poor fuel economy, and a rough idle. The engine warning light may also come on.
Electrical malfunctions
These can range from minor issues like faulty interior lighting to more severe problems that result in a complete loss of power. The TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) supplies electrical power to most of the Jeep and is one of the Jeep/Ram common failures.
Battery/Auxiliary Battery problems
With the introduction of the Auto Start/Stop system, Jeeps have a much more expensive battery and an “extra” or auxiliary battery to replace. This system and be disabled and save you a lot of grief and money.
Oil Cooler Housing:
A prevalent leak point on newer Jeeps, especially the 3.6L engine, due to its plastic construction which can crack over time.
Valve Cover Gaskets:
Another common source of oil leaks, noticeable as oil around the top of the engine.
